Where’s The Beef?<\/h2>\n

Those of us who are old enough will remember Clara Peller, the character in commercials for a popular hamburger chain in the mid-80’s. Clara\u00a0would ask “Where’s the beef?,<\/em>\u201d essentially calling out other chains for being skimpy on the most important part of the hamburger…the beef!<\/p>\n

As your organization heads into the planning and budgeting cycle for 2016, someone needs to be the Clara<\/em> of the organization.<\/p>\n

Someone needs to make sure the plan is focused on the most important outcomes.<\/p>\n

Because of the desire to satisfy multiple constituencies, plans often have a little bit of everything…kind of like the hamburger that has lots of vegetables but little meat.<\/p>\n
