All of these phrases are followed by a summary statement – words that give meaning to all of the things we do until we are done.<\/p>\n

Filling in the blanks for any one of these phrases IN THE BEGINNING is critical. <\/strong>Beginning with the end in mind is so critical, the late famed author Stephen R. Covey even named<\/a> it as one of the seven habits of highly effective people.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, aren\u2019t we just blindly following the program? If we can\u2019t describe what we\u2019ll be left with, then how can we determine whether or not we\u2019re doing the right things?<\/p>\n

Purpose, articulated early in the journey, will help keep our work focused and meaningful.<\/strong><\/p>\n
